HIGHLIGHTS
Effective October 28, 2019, Multifamily Asset Management Delegated Transaction: Condemnations (Form 4636.C), is being revised to: Clarify that condemnations resulting in a prepayment of 50% or more of the Unpaid Principal Balance (UPB) of the Mortgage Loan are not delegated and require approval by Fannie Mae. Require copies of condemnation legal action notices to be sent to Multifamily Asset Management.

Effective October 28, 2019, Multifamily Asset Management Delegated Transaction: Condemnations (Form 4636.C), is being revised to:

Clarify that condemnations resulting in a prepayment of 50% or more of the Unpaid Principal Balance (UPB) of the Mortgage Loan are not delegated and require approval by Fannie Mae.
Require copies of condemnation legal action notices to be sent to Multifamily Asset Management.

Changes

Form 4636.C has been updated to include:

a new question which makes condemnations that result in a prepayment of 50% or more of the UPB of the Mortgage Loan not delegated and require approval by Fannie Mae; and
a new requirement to send copies of all condemnation legal action notices to Multifamily via [email protected].
