Effective for Green Mortgage Loans Committed on or after November 2, 2020, Fannie Mae updated the recognized Green Building Certification (GBC) list in Form 4250. |
Primary Changes
- Expanded the Fannie Mae-recognized GBC list to include 40 GBCs across 13 GBC Organizations.
- New GBCs include:
- BREEAM USA: In-Use Residential Plus;
- International Living Future Institute: CORE Green Building Certification;
- U.S. EPA: Indoor AirPLUS; and
- USGBC: LEED Zero.
