Streamlined Rate Lock Reinstatement
Due to improving conditions, Fannie Mae is reinstating the Streamlined Rate Lock option for both the Multifamily Trading Desk and Third Party MBS Investors. You should consider whether a Streamlined Rate Lock is appropriate if the Property exhibits significant rent roll collection delinquencies, and discuss specific underwriting questions with your Fannie Mae Deal Team.
This Supplement supersedes Supplement 20-02: Suspension of Streamlined Rate Lock Mortgage Loans.
