:  Updated MBA Inspection Form Requirements

HIGHLIGHTS

Effective for all Mortgage Loans as of February 12, 2024, requirements for using the MBA Standard Inspection Form were updated. 

 

Primary Changes

The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) updated the MBA Standard Inspection Form Version: 3.1.

To ensure proper MAMP processing of the MBA Standard Inspection Form, you must adhere to the following schedule. 

Timing

 You must use... Do not use...

Until February 12, 2024

either:

 

  • Version: 3.01; or
  • Version: 3.03.
 Version: 3.1.

Effective February 12, 2024

either:

 

  • Version: 3.03; or
  • the new Version: 3.1.
 Version: 3.01.
To be announced later this summer  only the new Version: 3.1. Version: 3.03.
