HIGHLIGHTS

Effective for all Portfolio Mortgage Loans as of November 22, 2024, updated the

 

  • Initial Letter Post-Inspection Repairs/Replacements (Form 4830), and
  • Follow-Up Inspection Letter (Form 4831).

 

Primary Changes

Reiterated that Fannie Mae may:

  • exercise its right to obtain a Property Condition Assessment at the Borrower's expense; and 
  • require additional escrow funds to address Completion/Repairs and Replacements identified in the report.
